Есть машинка с линуксом и стримом. Рядом стоит машинка с 98 виндой.
Задача: сделать так, чтобы из под винды можно было ходить в сеть через стрим. Было принято решение соеденить две машинки напрямую с помощью crossover ethernet. В машинку с линуксом засунули дополнительную сетевую карточку и сказали
#ifconfig eth1 192.168.1.34 up
У eth0 адрес 192.168.1.33.
На виндовой машинке:
ip 192.168.1.35
netmask 255.255.255.0
шлюз 192.168.1.1
с виндовой машины ip 192.168.1.35 пингуется, а другеи (33 и 34) нет.
с линуксовой ip (33 и 34) пингуются, а
/home/ugoday# ping 192.168.1.35
PING 192.168.1.35 (192.168.1.35) 56(84) bytes of data.
ping: sendmsg: Operation not permitted
хотя
/home/ugoday# cat /etc/hosts.allow

Лень сейчас думать. Но если не глючу шлюз на win машине должен быть указан
как 192.168.1.35, т.е. eth1 linux машины.
Ну и включить форвардинг между интерфейсами на линукс машине.

192.168.1.35 это ip win машины.
Пробовал в качестве шлюза использовать 192.168.1.34 (ip карточки, в которую воткнута витая пара между вин и лин машинами) и 192.168.1.33 (ip карточки, соединённой с модемом). Не помогает.

Угу. Мтак. Разбрасываем инет и лан по разным подсетям.
Т.е. eth0 и модем на адрес допустим 192.168.1.x.
eth1 и win машину на 192.168.2.x.
Настраиваем роутинг по сетям и форвардинг между ними. Получаем нужный результат.При необходимости натим черз iptables.
ps. Когда-то, когда занимался настройкой роутеров и серверов писал статью
по этому делу. Не знаю в фидо-эхе ru.linux.chainik может и сохранилась.
Хотя врядли, прошло более 5 лет как я покинул сообщество фидошников.:)

"Косячек" скорее всего в нежелании что-то читать. Вам, уважаемый, самое время почитать что-нибудь по маршрутизации/адресации в IP сетях для начинающих, к примеру на citforum.ru или здесь
